Qantas continues to experience significant delays and disruptions to services between Australia and Europe due to severe weather conditions. Qantas recognises that the Christmas holiday period is an extremely busy time for travel to and from Europe and is attempting to provide as much assistance as possible to customers affected while working to secure arrival and departure times at Heathrow. Qantas customers booked to travel to and from Europe should regularly check the Flight Status page on qantas.com for the latest updates on their specific departure times.
Below is an overview of our current schedule. In light of the unpredictable conditions, this schedule remains subject to change.

Rebooking Conditions
The following options are available to Qantas passengers holding a valid 081 ticket with a United Kingdom or Europe through fare on the same ticket, who wish to make changes to their booking for travel up to and including Friday 24 December 2010. Passengers may, without penalty:
* Re-route travel via the most direct routing using Qantas. * Return to the origin port via the most direct routing using Qantas. * Rebook to alternative flights (including Qantas, British Airways and Qantas codeshare services). * Retain the value of the ticket in credit for future travel within 12 months from the original tickets date of departure. * Where the first sector of travel has commenced to/from United Kingdom/Europe, between 21 - 24 December 2010, the customer is able to return to their original point of departure with their ticket value stored for a 12 month period from ticketed date of departure. * Refunds will be offered where travel has not commenced and fees waived for tickets issued prior to 21 December 2010 for travel between 21 December and 24 December 2010. * Defer travel as per the conditions outlined below.
Conditions:
* All changes to travel dates must be made prior to departure. * New travel dates must be prior to 31 January 2011. * If the same booking class is not available, the lowest booking class within the same cabin may be booked (eg First, Business, Premium Economy or Economy). * Any third party costs/penalties, such as hotel or other ground operator fees incurred will not be waived by Qantas. * All other rules and conditions of the ticket remain unchanged. * This policy also applies to customers who are booked under a Qantas flight number on a codeshare aircraft.
