How to get to the Rugby World Cup final

Okay - we've had several phone calls this morning asking how to get to Auckland for this weekend. 1. Flights

Well Emirates have availability leaving Thursday night. Will get you in on Saturday afternoon and back Tuesday night - all in £1600. 2. Accommodation

Okay some *very* average hotels have doubled in price, but The Travellers International hotel just outside Auckland, is £370 from Saturday till Tuesday - there are a few more options on Expedia, hotels.com and hostelworld.

3. Final Tickets

Check out the usual suspects but on Gumtree NZ they seem to vary between extortionate and eye-watering-drop-the-mortgage-payments. But am assuming you would have expected that....

4. Flat Whites

You'll need one. You'll possibly need several to recover from your jetlag. New Zealand is coffee mad. Here's a list of a few coffee shops in Auckland

5. Research

Well you haven't got time now but you may want to check out our NZ blogs here

6. Spending money

Think what you need and then double it. Take everything. One way or t'other there's going to be a party or a wake to end them all...
